Hoppe has announced the launch of a new product line for the Hoppe brand: The Hoppe Toy Box utility cargo top. The Toy Box is a solid “camper-style” enclosure for UTV cargo beds, allowing side-by-side owners the adaptability of storing their belongings along with them on their off-road excursions while keeping them protected from the elements. Hoppe has kicked off the product line with models for both the Can-Am Defender and Polaris Ranger families of vehicles.
Additionally, Hoppe is also offering add-on options for the Toy Box line. The Divider Wall for the Hoppe Toy Box allows owners to organize, separate, and even secure their pets and cargo in the vehicle bed with the Toy Box. The Roof Rack provides owners additional storage when mounted on top of the Toy Box enclosure or on top of select Hoppe Audio Shade roofs (utility-oriented).

Hoppe had previously released its Audio Shade for the Defender MAX and always had plans to develop an offering for the more compact Defender models, as well. “We intend to close out this year strong at Hoppe by expanding offerings across the Defender line,” said Hoppe’s J.D. Vey. “For hunting season and beyond, we know the Audio Shade’s tough build quality and convenient light features will be a great added value to the top Kicker audio components we include in every model.”
In line with all of Hoppe’s off-road products, the new Audio Shade features the complete package of Kicker® audio components, Hoppe’s signature build quality, and compatibility with all single-row Defender models—2016 and newer.

As of November 5, 2020, Harwood Industries is now operational under the Motor Trike family of companies.
For over 45 years since its establishment by founder Gary Harwood, Harwood Industries has designed and manufactured products for the racing and street performance industries. The company’s specialization in aftermarket fiberglass parts for both street and race vehicles has garnered multiple NHRA Best Engineering Awards and Composite Industry Awards, among other honors.
Harwood’s reputation as “the most respected names in fiberglass” made the decision to acquire the company that much more natural, given Motor Trike’s years of fiberglass production spanning different industries.
Additionally, Motor Trike president and CEO, Jeffrey Vey, says the decision to acquire Harwood was more than just business. “I have known Gary Harwood and have done business with him for over 35 years,” says Vey. “He was a mentor for me when I first purchased and while operating Motor Trike. We have a responsibility to Gary’s legacy—to improve and grow this business—and that is what we are going to do.”
Harwood products will continue to be sold under the Harwood name but as a subsidiary of Motor Trike, Inc. with all production relocated from Harwood’s previous headquarters in Tyler, Texas to Motor Trike’s operations in Troup.
